Due to immensely popular request, I have figured out this thingymajiggy and can now allow for ANYONE to post comments. No username, no password, no nothing. So I expect to be hearing from ya'll. That means you Bobby, Clive, and Nora...
Either it will be really nice hearing from people reading my blog or else I will only receive comments from Mama Young a eight nights a week. But, I do miss you all and would love to hear from you, even through a comment on this crazy little thing called blog.
Anyways, here is a quick run down of what I have coming up...
Friday and Saturday is the big K300 dogsledding. From what I've heard it's kind of like Alaska's version of the Woman's World Cup. It's pretty sweet if you are there, but you would rather make it to the real thing (the Iditarod). But, being I have never seen any sort of dogsledding, I am pretty excited to see what this is all about. I am going to volunteer a bit so I can get a free meal out of thing... you wouldn't believe the price of meals. I will also be doing some fiddle dancing Saturday night.
Well... that's about all I have coming up. Days are getting longer and this morning for the first time it actually looked like Alaska outside. Every day since I got here it was calm and cold, at least 20 below. But this morning was closer to 5 below with a wicked wind and blowing snow everywhere. It was pretty frigid, but I loved it.

Mama Young was a bit confused- do you really want comments from me or not? And you can only wish there were 8 nights for me to comment. I am loving this blog and I guess it is only fair that you get to run to your computer every morning to see what all of us are having to say. Do you have a partner in mind for the fiddle dancing? Is it anything close to country dancing so you can use your skills? Love you hon, and unless I hear differently I will keep these comments coming. Mom
we enjoy keeping up with you on your blog,keep up the good work. spend some of that $ and buy a good meal, like at a cafe. I looked up some of that area so. of town there, it looks ausome, but real hard to get in to look at. gee
